Wine & Cheese Market Lunch - Christmas Edition

Victoria is putting on the third edition of the Wine & Cheese Market Lunch with special co-host: Emma Young. 

The theme of this lunch is How to Create the Perfect Christmas Cheeseboard and the Winter Wines to Drink with it!

Guests will enjoy a gourmet lunch of 6 different cheeses selected by Emma from the Chiswick Cheese Market, along with all the trimmings. Victoria will present six of her favourite Christmas wines from sparkling, white, orange, red, and sweet to cover all the classics on the cheeseboard. 

Come along with your partner, friends, family, or solo to enjoy this merry lunch! All the cheeses are sourced from the Chiswick Cheese Market which will be on until 3pm, so guests are able to shop their favourite discoveries after the lunch. 

Emma has just published a brilliant cheese book called The Cheese Wheel which will be available for sale at the event.

10% of the ticket profit goes to the Upper Room Charity. 

About Victoria:

Victoria Daskal is a wine writer, educator, presenter, and consultant with over 15 years of experience in the wine industry.

In 2008 she completed the OIV MSc in International Wine Management– a whirlwind programme that took her

around 45 wine regions and 23 countries–after which she came to London to work for Jancis Robinson MW. 

She has since worked in sales, events, and marketing while also completing the WSET Diploma with Merit and was most recently the Managing Editor of The World of Fine Wine magazine for six years. 

In 2018 she founded Mummy Wine Club, an award-winning wine subscription club and wine events company. She has since evolved the business to Victoria Daskal Wine and specialises in presenting wines from all over the world through her curated selections and educational wine events. She continues to write freelance (Decanter, Club Oenologique, Elite Traveler), judge, and consult. She is also a WSET-certified educator and teaches Levels 1, 2, and 3 at the WSET School in London.

About Emma: 

Emma Young  is a Cheese Specialist and Cheese Consultant from London in the UK. She has worked in the Cheese industry since 2009 in retail, wholesale, cheesemaking, judging and now as a teacher and consultant to the cheese industry.

Her global cheese travels through her Instagram www.instagram.com/thecheeseexplorer have led her to visit, document and work with many producers including Lebanon, France, Spain and Italy.

She is an International cheese judge and a teacher for the Academy of Cheese and the Guild of Fine Food.
